Januik Winery Wedding Woodinville

Januik Winery Wedding Woodinville, Novelty Hill Wedding, Seattle Wedding Photographer, Black Wedding Photographer Seattle

A soft & subtle fall wedding at Januik Winery in Woodinville. You can see more details of Marcus & Jenna’s wedding day, here.

Jenna and Marcus are married, and their wedding at Januik Winery in Woodinville was elegant, and every bit as soft and subtle as their love.

A while back, Jenna and Marcus were married in a small intimate wedding at Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie. This elopement-style wedding was the beginning of their journey as a married couple. However, they knew in their hearts, that they wanted to host a bigger celebration of their love. One that included their siblings, their parents, their grandparents, and all the friends who they cherish the most.

So they planned a recommitment of sorts, with a wedding day at Januik Winery in Woodinville. I felt incredibly honored that they asked me to capture their love story. From their engagement announcement to their Salish Lodge elopement, right up to their vows at Januik Winery. Having worked with them side by side from the very beginning, there is one thing so evident to me. Above all, Jenna and Marcus are deeply in love. In love in a way that I witnessed through their grandparents. Who, after years of experiencing life side by side, still share that knowing smile and eyes filled with adoration.

Their fall wedding at Januik Winery in Woodinville arrived with the colors of the season in full bloom. Soft and subtle hues of red filled the landscape of the winery accented by rich greenery and sprigs of nature that were saying goodbye to summer and hello to the slower pace of the season. In fact, seeing the winery during the fall season gave me a new affinity & appreciation for the beautiful foliage that came to life in those months. Nature set the pace for the day. However, Jenna and Marcus followed its cue with a starry-eyed wedding that showed their guests exactly who they are as a couple.

Their ceremony was officiated over by a relative, making their vows all the more personal. In fact, there was one piece of their ceremony truly unique to their story, that I had the pleasure to capture. Together, Jenna and Marcus began a keepsake lockbox. A box filled with things they love to share. Places to travel, sites to see, and new experiences to behold. Inside, the box was filled with 24 envelopes. Each envelope contained a new and exciting travel destination. Each year on their wedding anniversary, Jenna and Marcus pledged to pull one of the sealed envelopes out together, to discover where their next adventure would take them. During their wedding ceremony, they reopened the box to select an envelope with their friends and family in attendance to witness.

Adoring, and in tune with each other, Jenna and Marcus spent the evening of their Januik Winery wedding enjoying the company of their guests through cherished toasts. Glasses of wine filled with in-house selections from the tasting room, and sweet bites from a macaroon tower (their favorite dessert). You can see every beautifully subtle, yet candid moment of Jenna and Marcus’s wedding at Januik Winery, through the photos below.
