Bri + Bobby’s Fireseed Catering Wedding was an epic day of celebration, at a gorgeous outdoorsy wedding venue on Whidbey Island! I first met Bri and Bobby during their engagement session at Bellevue Botanical Garden. I could easily see that they are a couple who are truly meant to be together. My associate team was present to capture the details of their wedding at Fireseed Catering, but I just knew it was going to be an amazing day!
Fireseed Catering is a wedding venue located on Whidbey Island, just thirty minutes outside Seattle. One of the many things I love about this venue is the all-inclusive experience they provide their couples. You are given access to their grounds to plan your wedding ceremony, an indoor space for your reception, on-site getting-ready suites, and in-house catering that is beyond delicious!
The backdrop at a Fireseed Catering wedding is one of ripe, colorful gardens and intricate florals, with amazing spaces every which way you turn to capture your wedding photos. But, the icing on the cake of hosting your wedding at Fireseed Catering, is their mini-ponies. Yes, they have actual mini-ponies that reside on the grounds! And they are more than happy to let you take them for a walk during your wedding portraits. Can you picture capturing amazing wedding portraits with mini-ponies? If you can’t, you’ll get to see how two special guests made an appearance beside Bri and Bobby, in the photos below.

Bri and Bobby had a unique perspective on how they viewed their upcoming wedding. To them, getting married was about having a best friend to share the rest of their life with. Someone to make memories with, and someone who was a “soft place to land”; someone you could be at your most vulnerable with, but also feel safe beside. During the wedding planning process, they found that they were given time to focus on what makes their love so special and why they want to get married. Culminating in their summer wedding at Fireseed Catering.
It should come as no surprise then, that the theme of their summer wedding was summer garden romance. A sort of natural elegance that played with tones of peach, blush, pale coral, and navy to curate a wedding day that felt like the essence of their love for each other. In the spirit of keeping things romantic at their wedding, they also decided to forgo a first look and meet each other for the first time at the altar. A first look is not for everyone. But, if you’re still on the fence about whether or not to have a first look at your wedding, I created a resource for couples here.
With Bri and Bobby pronounced as married, my associate team worked with them and their wedding party to capture their portraits. The lush green backdrop of Fireseed Catering during the summer was the perfect space for bright smiles and that gorgeous color palette to come to life! You’ll get to see all the details of Bri and Bobby’s epic summer wedding at Fireseed Catering when you scroll through the photos in the blog below.
