As a Seattle Engagement Photographer, I am always scouting local spots for my couple’s engagement sessions, and Discovery Park was perfect for Mackenzie and Cameron to celebrate their love!
Mackenzie and Cameron’s love story started out as a blind date! Mackenzie first met a friend of Cameron’s while playing yard games at a party. That friend later went back to Cameron and said “hey, do you know about Mackenzie?” From there, numbers were exchanged and it wasn’t long before Mac and Cam were writing their very own love story!
Before long, this outdoorsy couple both knew they wanted to spend forever in each other’s company. They spent a while talking about what an engagement would look like for them, so it came as no surprise when the proposal happened. The couple took a road trip together to Maine one summer. They both packed rings in anticipation of proposing!
After a sunset hike to the top of Cadillac mountain, the couple began their descent down when they reached a private clearing. There, Mackenzie asked Cameron to dance with her to their favorite song. She then proceeded to ask Cameron to marry her. Later that same night, while sitting on the porch looking up at the stars Cameron asked Mackenzie to marry him. They both gave each other an enthusiastic yes and it wasn’t long before they were planning their wedding. That’s when they reached out to me! I was so excited to get to know them and hear all about their unique and joyful romance!
For their wedding day, Mac and Cam were most looking forward to being reunited with 175 of their closest family & friends as they said I do. Their wedding was held at Fireseeed Catering Wedding Venue on Whidbey Island! Mac & Cam planned a woodsy-themed wedding in colorful earthy shades!
