Surrounded by the Cascade Mountains, Salish Lodge & Spa Wedding Venue in Snoqualmie, WA provides 360-degree views of breathtaking scenery! If you recognize this gorgeous wedding venue, but can’t quite place where you recognize it from, I’ll tell you! It was featured on season 4 of Love is Blind on Netflix! I thought it would be fun to feature two beautiful couples, who were both married at Salish Lodge, in the blog below.
Rachel & Elvin’s Salish Lodge Wedding
I received the call to assist in photographing Rachel & Elvin’s wedding at Salish Lodge as a second shooter from a colleague of mine, Tara Brown Photography. She is close to the couple and asked me to come along on their wedding day journey to capture every moment! I have to admit, this couple was so passionate. Their day was filled with so much emotion. It was really beautiful to see a groom so overcome with love for his bride.
The wonderful thing about choosing Salish Lodge as your wedding venue is that they host all kinds of weddings. Elopements, intimate weddings, and grand-scale weddings alike! Rachel and Elvin’s day, in particular, was intimate. The couple booked the getting ready suite as part of their wedding day package. This allowed them to have a slow, relaxed morning, without all the hustle and bustle of a typical wedding day. There was plenty of room for the bride to get ready in her suite, alongside her Mom and her hair & makeup team!
Rachel and Elvin had a first look on the observation deck of Salish Lodge before exchanging private vows in a quiet wooded area. I personally love it when couples take a private moment like this on their wedding day. Whether it’s exchanging personal vows or reading letters to one another, it’s such a deep way to connect before your ceremony happens in front of your guests.

Marcus & Jenna’s Salish Lodge Wedding
By contrast, Marcus and Jenna’s wedding at Salish Lodge was more of an intimate-brunch-elopement style wedding! The couple wanted to do something to “make it official”, but in a relaxed way. They felt that a city hall wedding wouldn’t allow them to invite their closest friends and family (who flew in for the occasion!). So they decided instead to say I do at Salish Lodge.
Marcus and Jenna’s wedding took place in a location at Salish Lodge called “The Attic“. A casual corner of the lodge where a full brunch spread was served to their guests, mimosas included! Marcus and Jenna will be having a “big” wedding this coming fall and I cannot wait to celebrate alongside them! Scroll through to see more of their beautiful elopement.
