This pair of Cornell University Alumni recently celebrated two major milestones this year. Gloria just graduated from Cornell University with her MFA this Spring, and they just got engaged!
Gloria and I connected late this spring to begin the planning process. We discussed wardrobe, theme, and location and after hearing their happiness on the phone and I became even more excited to meet them!Through virtual planning and discussing several outdoor locations, they chose Golden Gardens Beach Park- a popular Ballard beach in North Seattle for its landscape, almost-white sand, and beach volleyball crowd. We had an amazing time hanging out and getting stunning photos despite the 100+ degree weather on a Friday night in June ( super rare!)
Wedding Planning
Wedding details are still being and planned by her family. But from what they’ve described it sounds beautiful because it will be in TANZANIA ( a little jealous I won’t get to photograph it because that is just a STUNNING visual)! They’re not to stressed because the parents are doing most of the heavy lifting!
An Elegant Session On the Beach
Together they looked so elegant wearing a pink chiffon maxi dress, and a chic navy suit. The sweltering temeratues didn’t bother them at all. If anything, they accepted the challenge! Toward the end, they let loose and enjoyed board games and champagne by sunset. Check out this stunning session and learn more about Gloria and Rory. It was recently featured in BlackBride.com !
Their theme: elegance!
